H&H Harvesting is a family owned and operated business and we travel throughout the great Midwest to the states of Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota and North Dakota. We are always on the lookout for qualified crew members to join us in our adventure.
We start in mid May and the season can run as long as mid to late November. We start with wheat and work through the harvest of Canola, Soybeans, Corn and Sunflowers. We prefer our crew to start at the beginning and see the job through until the completion of fall harvest.
We work hard when the sun is shining, this job is not a Monday - Friday, 9-5 job. When the weather doesn't cooperate, we service our machinery first, and then relax and try to take in some local activities and fun.
Our crew members range in age from 18-40, and are committed to spending the harvest run with our crew.
We provide housing for our crew members. We have 2 modern campers that are our home away from home. Complete with air-conditioning, bunk beds, storage, bathroom & shower, washer & dryer, kitchen, living room area with Dish Network TV, and dvd player.
We provide all meals for our crew. Homemade as much as possible, and take-out when not.
When hiring, we look for responsible individuals that care about and respect others and their belongings. We treat our customers' fields as if they were our own. And our equipment is big, heavy and expensive, and needs to be treated as such. Our crew works together to accomplish the harvest. As hands-on employees, you will get to experience all aspects of a harvest run.
Because of the equipment involved, we like our crew members to have CDL licenses. We can help you study for, test and obtain a CDL if needed. Each employee is responsible to drive the equipment from one location to the next. A clean driving record is expected.
We expect our employees to have good work habits, be responsible and self directed, be able to work with others, follow directions and take this job as seriously as we do.
